Stepping stones.

Sometimes I feel like I’m just a stepping stone for others to find what they want. Like I’m the path that leads them to happiness, but never actually going there with them… just a stand in to keep them company until they find something better. And I wish more than anything that I could find someone who would stick around and give me a chance. Because I have so much unconditional love. I keep waiting to share it. My heart is filled with all this energy and passion. I want to go on adventures and be silly. I want to fall in love and feel completely crazy about someone, to a point where I miss them so much, even if they’re gone for only a second, and I can’t stop thinking about them because everything feels right when they’re around me, like nothing else exists, and I wouldn’t even want to know how to get through my day without them.

I’ve found it before and it’s the happiest I’ve ever been in my life, but the person never feels the same way about me. And I just don’t understand what I’m doing wrong? I feel things a lot deeper than most people and things always mean more to me for some reason. It hurts so much I can barely stand it sometimes, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. It’s the only way I know how to love.

At the end of the day, I just want to be there for someone and listen to all their stories, and for once I won’t have to worry whether or not they want to be with me, I’ll just know…. More than anything in the whole world, I want to feel safe.

I’ve realized I’ll always be one of those rare people who lives for others more than myself. Because no matter what, the ones I care about most and hold close to my heart… I just want them to be happy.

1. My all time favorite video game is Legend of Dragoon. I would literally play it in my sleep if I could.

2. I have a special relationship with CHEESE.

3. I love Spanish. My plan is to become a Spanish teacher when I graduate and travel the world as much as I can.

4. I’m not a confrontational person at all, but I have very low tolerance for bullshit.

5. I can’t wait to move out and get an apartment with my friends Nick, Ellie, and Ronnie. I can’t describe how excited I am!

6. I was an extra on an episode of “The Wire” a few years ago

7. I’m terrified of being in a relationship….

8. I’m addicted to “How I Met Your Mother”, I wouldn’t recommend challenging me to a trivia game

9. I was born with lazy eye and had it until I was 8 years old. I had surgery to fix it, and ended up wearing a patch on my eye for 3 weeks. It was cool though, it made me feel like a pirate.

10. I love the mountains…. Why? Because they’re full of adventure and awesomeness! I really enjoy hiking.

11. I grew up with 3 brothers. And I wouldn’t trade it for anything. No matter how tough things get, they always have my back. ♥

12. I have a scar on my left knee in the shape of a moon crescent. When I was 10 years old I fell on some glass while trying to sneak into a basketball court with my little brother.

13. My favorite feeling in the whole world is when a guy hugs me so tight and it feels like he never wants to let go.

14. Forehead kisses make my heart melt.

15. Michaelangelo is my favorite ninja turtle.

16. My weakness is Mountain Dew and Golden Grahams cereal.

17. I actually find it very comforting when people snore while they’re sleeping.

20. I’m allergic to tomatoes and strawberries, but I still eat them.

21. Chillin on my window sill outside on my rooftop is one of my favorite things to do.

22. I’m extremely ticklish around my hip bones.

23. I can’t look at mustard anymore without thinking of boners.

24. My worst fears are drowning in deep water and tornadoes.

25. My favorite bugs are fireflies. I love catching them on summer nights.
